So I had this craving lastnight......

Im not sure why but about 9 pm I started thinking about chocolate licorice, I had 4 pts left and I was thinking that If I had some licorice I could surely have a piece or two and still be within my pts for the day.
I looked and looked all through my house and couldn't find any, I even asked my son if he had any in his room, NO he didn't, I couldnt stop thinking about it....
He said he would go to the store for me if I wanted him too, I seriously considered it and at this point was thinking about eating the entire bag!!!
I decided to chug a big glass of water and wait for 15 minutes,
after 15 I was still thinking of chocolate, I did happen to find 3 mini twix in the back of the cupboard, I think they were from Halloween, they were a little firm but I thought oh yum, this could be the ticket to stop my chocolate craving......
As little as they were, I figured up the pts and they are FOUR pts each, *sigh
I held one in my hand for a minute and then had some more water,   I was totally rationalizing everything in my head, "was it really worth 4 whole pts?"  I mean I could have TWO fiber one bars for the same amount of pts.
I talked myself out of eating anything, and told myself I could wait until morning to have my yummy WW breakfast sandwich!

I guess I am sharing this because it was a huge milestone for me,
How often I would have just eaten all three mini twix, plus had a cookie because afterall the candy bars were just little.......
Being aware and concious of what we are eating and how many grams of fat & calories is so key to maintaining weightloss....!
I love my new plan, WW rocks, I don't feel deprived or like Im even on a diet, just a brand new lifestyle!!
Making better choices is going to lead to a better me, =)
