I am pledging a fitness goal instead of weight loss to earn my 2% bonus points. I plan to run the Neola half marathon on the July 4th weekend. To accomplish this I commit to 3 hours of training per week. This training is in addition to my 20 minutes of exercise 6 days a week.
For my bad habit - I will be giving up texting while driving. This is really hard! I have also given this up for Lent, but have been failing miserably. Hopefully the added incentive of losing points will motivate me in a way that I haven't been able to commit to The Man Upstairs! I do want to point out that in the past two rounds I have given up diet coke and swearing. These are two habit that, so far, I haven't gone back to. So success is imminent!!!
For my good habit - I will spend 20 minutes a day reading for pleasure or blogging. Both things I really enjoy and are stress relieving for me. But, always the first things to go when I get busy or stressed.
