Week 2 Day 1

Wow, so that was new and different.

When I started this game a week ago, I was 10 pounds heavier than I started out this morning. I went from 340 to 330 in 7 days and I feel pretty damn good about that.

The water hasn't been that big of a deal for me. I was worried at first, but it turns out that I was already doing 3 or more liters a day anyway. So kick ass!

Changing my bad habit has actually worked really well with the 7 hours of sleep rule. I have been getting the 7 hours every night and I (mostly) get to work on time. I feel great about both.

My new good habit has been a lot harder than it probably should be. I hate to admit it, but it has been really hard to actually spend 1 on 1 time with my kid. Although once we start I love it and usually end up spending more than my 30 minutes playing with him.

The exercise has been by far the hardest thing to do in the whole game. The first two days really killed me. It took me almost the whole rest of the week just to walk right again. But now I am able to spend more time on the elliptical before I need a break and that's pretty kick face.

I've got some mini-goals I guess for the second week. Basically I want to maintain my kick ass progress and hopefully hit a perfect week. Also, I would like to finish a full 20 minute workout without stopping and another 10 pounds would be what the kids call "awesome" .

Before I end my post I just want to say three more things.
First, good job to everyone on the first week done. Keep up the great work!
Second, for mostly new comers I think our team really stepped up. I'm proud of us.
Third, I'm sorry for all of those that hope to win at the end, but Team Whatever We're Called Now is gonna kick some ass.
